RN will facilitate and provide care to OPAT (outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy) patients in our growing infectious diseases clinic.
Responsibilities
In coordination with the Infectious Disease Clinic Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner, review labs, monitor clinical status, and communicate treatment plans for our OPAT (Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy) patients. Communicate results and updates to plan to patient. Work closely with ID providers in following clinical course and making modifications to treatment plans. Obtain labs from vascular access devices (VAD) and perform VAD dressing changes in the clinic.
