Job Description
Position SummaryPerforms maintenance, calibration, and repair of various equipment which may include fixed/portable gas monitoring systems, emergency lighting and air movement/ventilation equipment, various gas detection monitors, gas detection systems and docking stations, hand-held and confined space radio communication equipment (2-way radios).
Essential Responsibilities, includes but are not limited to

- Performs maintenance, repair, cleaning and sensor change-outs on various types of equipment which may include fixed and portable gas monitoring systems.
- Returns monitoring equipment to active status within an established time frame.
- Performs routine calibration procedures on portable and fixed gas monitors.
- Learns to service and repair hand-held and confined space radio communications equipment.
- Completes all documentation associated with service in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assists others in the facility including stocking shelves with clean, tested and ready to use equipment and pulling, staging and loading customer orders onto trucks for delivery.

- Ready & Urgent Subject Matter Leader
- Vocational or Associates Degree required. Higher degree in computer technology or electronics field preferred.
- Three plus years electronics repair experience. Previous gas detection equipment repair experience preferred.
- Minimum 23 years of age.
- Must have a clean driving record & able to pass DISA background, plant security, drug screen
- Current TWIC preferred.
- Willingness to travel a must.
- Willingness to work a rotating weekend and on-call schedule.

Employee must be able to distinguish between colors.
- The employee will be required to work in office and open-air workspaces. Exposure to varied temperatures: heat and cold.
