The AI Adoption Lead will play a critical role in helping organizations transform the way employees work alongside artificial intelligence. This position bridges the gap between AI implementation and measurable business value by focusing on workforce readiness, adoption, and organizational change. The role combines change leadership, workforce strategy, organizational design, and coaching to enable successful AI-driven transformation. You will partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to redesign workflows, build AI capabilities, and create confidence around new ways of working. The AI Adoption Lead is responsible for driving AI transformation initiatives within a business unit by ensuring employees, teams, and leaders are prepared to successfully integrate AI into their daily work. This role focuses on creating adoption strategies, redesigning roles and workflows, building capabilities, and using data-driven insights to guide organizational change.
- Develop and execute business-unit AI adoption strategies in partnership with change management teams, helping employees move from AI experimentation to meaningful productivity improvements.
- Create stakeholder engagement plans, identify adoption barriers, build influence networks, and establish communities of AI champions and superusers.
- Assess how AI impacts existing roles and responsibilities by analyzing tasks, redesigning job profiles, and defining future human-AI collaboration models.
- Partner with business leaders to identify emerging workforce needs, career pathways, and transition strategies as AI capabilities evolve.
- Evaluate AI fluency across teams, identify skill gaps, and design targeted learning initiatives that integrate AI capability-building into everyday workflows.
- Enable managers to effectively lead AI-augmented teams through coaching, training programs, and practical guidance on human-AI collaboration.
- Develop workforce planning insights by analyzing future skills demand, automation opportunities, and organizational requirements over a 12–36 month horizon.
- Advise leadership teams on organizational structure, operating models, team composition, and processes that support AI-enabled ways of working.
- Promote responsible AI practices by embedding transparency, trust, governance, and human oversight into adoption strategies.
- Build and manage AI adoption measurement frameworks, leveraging usage data, workforce analytics, and employee feedback to evaluate transformation progress.
- Identify informal AI usage patterns and help convert emerging practices into productive, governed solutions.
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience leading people-focused transformation initiatives and has a strong understanding of how technology impacts organizations, roles, and workforce capabilities.
- 8+ years of experience in change management, organizational effectiveness, HR transformation, workforce strategy, or related people-focused disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale technology, digital transformation, or business transformation initiatives from the people and organizational perspective.
- Strong knowledge of change management methodologies and the ability to adapt frameworks to AI-driven transformation environments.
- Experience with workforce planning, job architecture, role redesign, or organizational design initiatives.
- Ability to establish trust and influence business leaders, managers, and employees across different levels of an organization.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using workforce data, adoption metrics, and insights to guide decisions.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools and genuine interest in AI-enabled ways of working.
- Experience embedding transformation initiatives directly within business units is highly valued.
- Familiarity with agentic AI, automation workflows, human-in-the-loop processes, or AI governance is preferred.
- Background in learning and development, capability building, skills-based talent models, or dynamic workforce planning is a plus.
- Strong communication, facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience applying organizational design principles and supporting evolving operating models.
- Competitive on-target earnings ranging from $130,000 to $150,000 annually, including base salary and applicable target bonus opportunities.
