Join us in building the future of pediatric cancer care.We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse Manager for our Pediatric Oncology & Hematology Clinic to provide clinical leadership for a growing program and play a key role in preparing for an exciting expansion of pediatric cancer services.This is an exceptional opportunity for a nurse leader who is passionate about pediatric oncology and hematology, team development, patient-centered care, and creating an outstanding experience for children and their families.A New Chapter in Pediatric Cancer Care Our organization is investing in the future of cancer care with the opening of the new Taubman Cancer Center in January 2028. The new center will feature:

The RN Manager will be instrumental in helping our Pediatric Oncology & Hematology program prepare for this exciting transition and growth. This leader will have the opportunity to help shape workflows, develop the nursing team, establish standards of care, and build a culture of excellence as we move toward our new Cancer Center.Position OverviewThe RN Manager provides clinical and operational leadership for the Pediatric Oncology & Hematology Clinic. This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality, safe, compassionate care while supporting staff development, regulatory compliance, patient experience, and efficient clinic operations.The ideal candidate is a collaborative and visionary nurse leader who can balance the complex needs of pediatric oncology and hematology patients and families with the operational responsibilities of managing a growing clinical program.Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day clinical leadership and oversight for the Pediatric Oncology & Hematology nursing team.
  • Promote safe, evidence-based, family-centered care for pediatric oncology and hematology patients.
  • Recruit, mentor, coach, and develop nursing and clinical staff.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, professional growth, and psychological safety.
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, patient flow, and daily clinic operations.
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacy, social work, child life, laboratory, and other multidisciplinary partners.
  • Establish and maintain clinical standards, policies, procedures, and workflows specific to pediatric oncology and hematology care.
  • Support quality improvement, patient safety, infection prevention, and regulatory readiness.
  • Monitor clinical and operational metrics and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a strong advocate for pediatric patients and their families.
  • Participate in program development and strategic planning associated with the 2028 opening of the new Taubman Cancer Center.
  • Help design and implement workflows for the expanded infusion and exam-room capacity.
  • Support staff through organizational growth, change, and transition.
  • Identify opportunities to improve access, efficiency, patient experience, and continuity of care.
  • Promote professional development and ongoing education in pediatric oncology and hematology nursing.

What We Require:Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required. Master's degree preferred.
Experience: Pediatric oncology and/or hematology nursing experience preferred.
Experience leading program development, clinical expansion or major operational change preferred. Experience with infusion services and/or ambulatory oncology care a plus.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: RN/BSN license required due to practice model and regulatory requirements.

Life Support: Not required.

Other Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage priorities and support operational goals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electronic medical records required.

Compensation Range:

$63,377.60 - $95,076.80

Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
