Role: Quality Electrical Test Technician
- Test and troubleshoot electrical control cabinets
- Inspect control wiring
- Inspect and program transformer monitors
- Assist in troubleshooting and repair of testing equipment
- Ability to read and interpret complex control wiring diagrams, component monitoring manuals, troubleshoot and correct any related problems
- Possess the skills necessary to analyze data and implement corrective or preventative actions and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, output levels and accuracy of the quality testing process
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees, management and customer
- Implement corrective/preventive actions
- Enter nonconformances when needed

Requirements:Basic Requirements:
- Knowledge of and skill to perform operations in arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and statistics
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work within the WEG Code of Ethics & Values. (WEG Code of Ethics, 4th Edition)
- Able to work over-time as needed, including some weekends
- Ability to safely use a ladder, work from heights (up to 16') and able to lift 40 lbs.
- Resides or plans to reside within reasonable commuting distance - no relocation assistance available.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in basic English
- Has current work authorization for employment in the United States
- Must complete: Job interview, pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Safety Sensitive position: Drug panel includes THC
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology preferred
- Post-Secondary Certificate or Associate's Degree
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Outlook, Excel, and Word)
- Experience with a variety of test equipment & systems
- Experience in quality inspection and knowledge of Electrical testing
