Description
Position Purpose
As the Project Team Supervisor, you will oversee the quality, standardization, and timeliness of all project management activities assigned across the business units. This role is responsible for developing and supporting a high-performing team of Project Managers (PMs), ensuring project execution aligns with company goals for safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability. You will collaborate closely with operations, sales, and technical teams to maintain project delivery excellence. This position reports to the Operations Manager and directly supervises the Project Management team.
Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000 plus performance based commission

- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness across all phases of project delivery.
- Develop and supervise a team of Project Managers through recruitment, training, supervision and coaching.
- Manage workload distribution, staffing level recommendations, and project assignments to ensure timely execution and balance among the team.
- Oversee and approve project-related timecards and monitor overhead costs.
- Conduct departmental forecasting for personnel needs, compensation recommendations and profit-sharing recommendations.
- Provide employee annual performance reviews
- Partner with sales and estimating teams to ensure accurate project scope and deliverables are communicated prior to project kickoff.
- Maintain active contact with customers, vendors and suppliers
- Ensure project managers adhere to company processes and standards for project initiation, execution, and closeout.
- Assist project managers in interpreting construction documents, specifications, and technical requirements.
- Facilitate regular team meetings and conduct training on project management best practices, systems, and tools.
- Support accurate and timely project billing, change order management, and contract compliance.
- Assist with the development and improvement of project tracking tools and dashboards in collaboration with internal support teams.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technologies relevant to air distribution products.
- Ensure LONG is fairly compensated for all equipment provided
- Ability to travel to job sites and customer meetings as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field and 5 years of relevant project management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- PMI Certification or commitment to obtain certification in 12 months following hire date.
- Proven leadership and team development experience.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC controls, or commercial construction projects.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools, scheduling software, and Bluebeam.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in forecasting, budgeting, and cost control
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and willingness to accept responsibility and accountability.
- Availability for after-hour consultation and problem-solving on assigned jobs and departmental requirements and needs, as necessary.

- This position may involve standing for extended periods and working in tight spaces.
- This position may require lifting to 50 lbs. from floor to countertop and countertop to floor.
