Reports To: VP of Marketing
Compensation: $85,000 $95,000 / year
Location: This position is based at our corporate office in San Antonio, Texas. Remote work may be considered for candidates who reside outside the San Antonio metropolitan area. All applicants must be current residents of the state of Texas.

At Empower Behavioral Health (EBH), marketing is the bridge between families who need help and the clinicians who can provide it. Every campaign, every search result, every clinic that opens successfully represents a family that found us when they needed us most.
As Digital Acquisition Manager, you will own and evolve EBH's digital acquisition capability. This means leading our paid and organic channels, refining and expanding what we've built, driving our AI search visibility strategy, and ensuring that when a family is searching for ABA therapy, EBH is there. You will work closely with the VP of Marketing to shape how we grow, how we launch new clinics, and how we bring our digital marketing capabilities fully in-house.
Responsibilities:- Manage relationships with digital marketing vendors and agency partners to support EBH's growing in-house marketing function
- Manage all paid media campaigns across active markets, including Google Ads, Meta, and emerging channels, with a focus on audience strategy, HIPAA-compliant targeting, and performance optimization
- Own EBHs SEO strategy and organic website performance, including technical SEO, on-page optimization, and content direction to drive qualified traffic
- Lead AI search and answer engine optimization (AEO) strategy, improving EBHs visibility across AI-powered tools including ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews
- Lead digital analytics and performance reporting, maintaining full-funnel conversion tracking and executive dashboards across all digital channels. As the team grows, analytics infrastructure ownership will evolve with it.
- Manage local listing accuracy across all clinic locations, treating Google Business Profile and other key directories as active lead generation assets
- Design and execute digital acquisition strategy for new clinic openings, supporting go-to-market execution from launch through patient ramp
- Deliver regular performance reporting with actionable insights on cost per acquisition and channel efficiency

Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 4+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience, ideally in healthcare or a regulated industry
- Proven paid media management experience across platforms such as Google Ads and Meta, with a track record of building and managing campaigns independently
- HIPAA marketing awareness and understanding of what is and is not permitted in healthcare advertising
- Strong analytical instincts and comfort using performance data to make decisions
Preferred:
- Experience in behavioral health, pediatric healthcare, or multi-location healthcare marketing
- Working knowledge of SEO, AI search trends, and answer engine optimization (AEO)
- Familiarity with digital analytics and conversion tracking tools such as GA4 and Google Tag Manager
- Experience managing local listings at scale across multiple locations
- Proficiency with analytics and reporting tools such as Mixpanel or Looker Studio
- Background in marketing strategy for new location or clinic openings
- Passion for improving access to care for children and families
Physical Requirements:
