Under the general supervision of the Manager, Operations Control, this position is responsible for the daily oversight and coordination of the Company's centralized dispatch operations. This includes ensuring all activities foster excellent customer service while maintaining the highest level of safety. The incumbent assists in ensuring all operations are conducted in compliance with Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), regulatory requirements, and company policies and procedures.
What you'll do
- Oversee and coordinate daily logistics requirements for all flight charters, resolving issues and implementing contingency plans as required.
- Act as the primary point of contact for charter and workforce transportation customers, ensuring effective communication and strong customer relationships.
- Provide direct operational support to the Manager, Operations Control, and act in the manager's absence.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and performance management activities where necessary.
- Coordinate crew schedules with the appropriate personnel during irregular operations.
- Ensure daily trip packages and flight schedules are prepared and distributed accurately and on time.
- Participate in the development and implementation of departmental procedures and process improvements.
- Review and approve landing fees, taxi slips, miscellaneous invoices, and monthly Nav Canada Aircraft Movement billing for accuracy and processing.
- Provide support to the crew scheduling function.
- Schedule maintenance as directed by the Maintenance Department and participate in daily maintenance meetings.
- Participate in regular flight operations meetings and internal committees as required.
- Work closely with Maintenance, Dispatch, and Customer Care departments to ensure charter operations meet and exceed customer expectations.
What you'll bring
Typically, the knowledge and skills required for this position include a diploma from a recognized career college in business administration, combined with a minimum of five years' experience in aviation logistics.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to take initiative, manage priorities, and execute tasks accurately and effectively.
- Strong self-leadership skills with a positive, hands-on, can-do attitude.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and operational software systems.
- Ability to support and strengthen workplace safety initiatives.

What you'll get
The expected compensation range for this role is $65,000 to $94,000 per year. Placement within the range will be based on demonstrated skills, relevant experience, and internal equity considerations.
