Role Overview
As the Program Manager, Atlanta you will lead a diverse portfolio of TKH programs in one of TKH’s regions, including:
- Workforce Programs (e.g., Innovation Fellowship)
- Youth Programs (e.g., KKCF, Coding Fellowships, school programs)
- Community Programs (e.g., Digital Literacy Summits)
- Training Solutions (e.g., Fee-For-Service, custom programs)
This role works under the guidance of the national program team, receives regular training and updates, and applies national best practices to achieve or exceed program benchmarks. You will ensure all programs are delivered in fidelity with TKH’s national program guidelines, curriculum, and high-quality execution across all program areas, foster strong community relationships, and drive positive outcomes for learners of all ages—from youth exploring technology for the first time to adult learners preparing for tech careers.
In addition to program operations leadership, you will directly supervise a Career Specialist (who provides career coaching and instruction to participants) and a Teacher Assistant (who supports in-person instruction). You will collaborate closely with TKH’s national program operations managers and recruitment, teaching and learning, and alumni career services teams to implement core programs. You will also identify and maintain relationships with local community partners, schools, and employers to deliver inclusive, impactful programming that supports participants in achieving their educational and professional goals.
Regional Program Delivery & Student Success (60%)
Execution, performance management, and learner outcomes across all regional programs
- Lead the execution of TKH’s regional program portfolio—including Youth Fellowship, Innovation Fellowship, Technical Fellowship, and Digital Literacy programs—ensuring the region meets regional enrollment goals for Youth Fellowship participants, Innovation Fellowship participants, and Digital Literacy participants annually.
- Partner with national program managers across regional recruitment, onboarding, attendance, and learner support strategies to maintain at least 65% retention across all fellowship programs, proactively identifying risks and implementing data-driven interventions to support learner persistence.
- Manage end-to-end participant lifecycles—from onboarding through program completion or graduation—to ensure consistent, high-quality experiences and at least 75% satisfaction across all programs.
- Partner with Career Specialists, instructors, and national program teams to drive program impact outcomes, including 75% job placement for Youth Fellowship graduates, 65% job placement for Innovation Fellowship graduates, and 40% enrollment of Digital Literacy participants into other workforce programs.
- Monitor and analyze participant progress, attendance, completion, satisfaction, and placement data to ensure 80% of participants across all programs report positive outcomes related to education, certification, or employment.
- Collaborate with national program managers and directors to localize implementation strategies aligned with regional demographics while maintaining fidelity to TKH’s national program models, curricula, and quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with schools, community organizations, workforce agencies, and employers to strengthen applicant pipelines, expand work-based learning opportunities, and support placement outcomes.
- Supervise and coach regional program staff—including the Career Specialist and Teaching Assistant—to ensure effective instruction, learner support, and accountability for enrollment, retention, satisfaction, and placement goals.
- Participate in regular national program trainings, check-ins, and professional development sessions to ensure consistent execution, continuous improvement, and alignment with evolving program standards.
Site Operations & Learning Environment (20%)
- Supervise the teacher assistant to support classroom setup, technology, supplies, and facilities logistics to ensure seamless and learner-ready spaces for all program formats.
- Lead execution of site-based events—including orientations, showcases, industry panels, volunteer engagements, and graduations—with a focus on participant impact.
- Foster a professional, inclusive, and engaging learning environment rooted in TKH’s values of equity, growth, and community.
- Design and deliver regional events that build confidence, belonging, and purpose across programs.
- Implement and analyze feedback systems (surveys, focus groups) to continuously improve program delivery.
Cross-functional Coordination & Reporting (20%)
- Work under the guidance and direction of the national program team, applying feedback and updates to program delivery in the region.
- Collaborate with national program operations, instructional, and alumni career services teams to ensure regional practices align with national priorities and evolving program standards.
- Maintain close communication with the Senior Program Manager, providing regional updates, surfacing challenges, and sharing best practices.
- Serve as the key liaison between your regional site and national teams (Instructional, Career Services, External Affairs, Operations).
- Collect, manage, and report program data (attendance, satisfaction, retention, and career outcomes) to inform decision-making and contribute to national evaluation efforts.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in program and team management
- Bachelor’s degree required—open to all majors and professional backgrounds.
- Supervisory experience required, including coaching and performance management.
- Experience facilitating workshops, moderating panels, and presenting to large audiences across different age groups.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen, mediate, and connect authentically with diverse learners.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with data analysis to measure and improve participant outcomes.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and openness to feedback.
- Proficiency in Google Suite; familiarity with Salesforce, Canvas (or other LMS), and Microsoft Office preferred.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and about 10 Saturdays per year.

Hybrid Work at TKH
All full-time staff are expected to come into a TKH office or the field (community and industry events, including conferences or travel for work) 1-2 days per week, and the Leadership Team will be encouraged to come into a TKH office at least two times per week. There will be one consistent team day a week that will vary by team. Please note that there are some roles that may require being on-site more based on the job responsibilities.
In addition to the 1 team day, there will be weeks when the expectation is 2 days/week based on required meetings. These may include all staff meetings, department stepbacks, professional development, retreats, events, or other purposeful reasons, as requested by your supervisor or team lead.
