What you'll be doing:
- Strategically manage various aspects within the warehouse in compliance with company policies and vision
- Initiate, coordinate and implement optimal operational policies and procedures
- Adhere to all general warehousing standards, and shipping code requirements
- Maintain standards of health, safety, hygiene and security
- Recruit, select, coach and motivate employees
- Produce production reports and performance statistics regularly
- Maintain company standards of performance, adherence to policy, and operational practices
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree is preferred, an Associate's degree is required, or an equivalent number of years of experience
- Proven work experience as a warehouse manager or supervisor
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
- Leadership skills and ability manage staff
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills, excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, holidays, and weekends
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Able to submit to a Drug Test and Background Investigation
