This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Desenvolvedor Operações Sênior - IA & Agentes Autônomos based in Brazil.
This is a senior, hands-on role focused on turning generative AI into secure, scalable, production-ready solutions.
You will build, customize, deploy, and optimize AI agents and virtual assistants for complex enterprise environments.
The role combines strong backend engineering with APIs, cloud infrastructure, RAG architectures, and LLM observability.
You will work at the forefront of autonomous agent development, testing modern frameworks and technologies as part of an expert team.
Your impact will extend beyond coding, as you challenge technical assumptions and influence architecture and delivery decisions.
You will collaborate closely with architects, specialists, and enterprise stakeholders to solve complex problems and unlock new use cases.

- Proactively identify technical bottlenecks and ensure the quality, security, reliability, and performance of AI solutions from end to end.
- Act as a technical advisor, challenging existing approaches, proposing more efficient architectures, and influencing technical decisions with specialists and enterprise clients.
- Develop, customize, and deploy AI agents and virtual assistants while integrating complex ecosystems involving APIs, ERPs, CRMs, databases, and other enterprise systems.
- Design and implement RAG workflows and work with vector databases to provide AI agents with accurate, relevant, and context-rich information.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize LLM usage, focusing on cost, latency, response quality, and overall performance through observability and tracing tools.
- Collaborate with architects and technical specialists to evolve solution architectures and contribute to cloud deployment processes and infrastructure on AWS.
- Apply a proactive, problem-solving mindset to continuously improve AI solutions, development practices, and technical outcomes.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical decisions, advocate for innovation, and constructively challenge established practices.
- Solid professional experience as a Backend Developer, preferably working with TypeScript/Node.js and/or Python.
- Practical experience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs and Webhooks.
- Experience building and orchestrating AI workflows using modern frameworks, particularly Mastra for TypeScript-based agents, LangChain, or equivalent technologies.
- Hands-on experience with LLM observability and tracing tools such as Langfuse, including monitoring costs, latency, performance, and response quality.
- Practical knowledge of cloud computing, particularly AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and related infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of generative AI concepts, including Prompt Engineering, Embeddings, Chunking, and RAG architectures.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases, together with familiarity with vector databases such as Pinecone, Qdrant, or ChromaDB.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions or GitLab CI, is a plus.
- Experience working on technology projects for enterprise or B2B clients is desirable.
- Familiarity with LLM tool/function calling using platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini is an advantage.
- Experience with automated testing for AI workflows is a plus.
