Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining manufacturing equipment in a safe, reliable, and productive operating condition. This position troubleshoots, monitors, adjusts, repairs, installs, and services equipment and machinery throughout the facility.
Essentials Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with electrical motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
- Repair, install, adjust, modify, and service all equipment.
- Evaluate equipment reliability and take actions to improve performance.
- Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and all other company safety requirements.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
- Perform additional maintenance-related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of experience in industrial maintenance.
- Skilled and experienced in the areas of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, basic welding, and Rigging.
- Ability to use a programmable logic controller (PLC) for troubleshooting purposes.
- Complete work orders in a safe manner.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Willingness and ability to learn AAE’s manufacturing processes.
Working Environment:
- Comfortable in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift and move equipment or parts that weigh up to 50 pounds.
