Clinical RN or GN w/Permit in Odessa, Texas at Medical Center Hospital

Position Summary:

Functions as a staff nurse under the guidance and supervision of an experienced R.N. Performs routine patient care assignments and carries out established nursing procedures utilizing the nursing process.

Qualifications:
A. Education and Certification:
1. Current Texas permit or license as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
2. Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) preferred.
3. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association(AHA) certification required upon hire
4. Advanced Cardial Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) within six (6) months of hire
5. Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) or Trauma Nursing Course (TNCC) within twelve (12) months of hire (class selection dependent on director assignment)
B. Training and Experience:
1. Experience in critical care a plus
