Position Title: Production Operator

Location: South Carolina

B Shift 6p-6a
Overtime as needed

The Production Operator supports manufacturing operations by performing simple assembly, manual production, and inspection of parts in both assembly and injection molding environments. This role follows standardized work instructions, supports daily production goals, and ensures safety, quality, and housekeeping standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, process, and manually manufacture parts, components, and sub?assemblies
• Operate at assembly workstations and injection molding machines as assigned
• Perform simple setup or adjustments of tools, fixtures, and equipment per work instructions
• Conduct visual inspections to identify defects or irregularities
• Perform simple tests and inspections (yes/no decisions for accuracy and completeness)
• Document test and measurement results as required
• Monitor part and material availability and report shortages
• Maintain attention to detail to meet daily production schedules
• Continuously inspect parts during production and separate defective materials
• Communicate safety, quality, equipment, or productivity issues to supervisors or team leads
• Eliminate minor obstacles or stoppages and report issues as required
• Maintain clean and organized work areas using 6S principles
• Perform work at multiple stations or machines as needed
• Work cooperatively with team members
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Less than 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to follow written work instructions and standard processes
• Basic communication skills in English
• Willingness to work in both assembly and injection molding areas

Physical Requirements

• Standing for the duration of the shift
• Walking, sitting, bending, reaching, lifting, and manual dexterity
• Visual acuity for inspection tasks
• Ability to work in and around heavy machinery

Work Environment & Equipment

• Manufacturing and injection molding production environments
• Exposure to machinery, tools, repetitive tasks, and moving equipment
• All required tools and equipment provided in assigned work areas
