NORTON HEART & VASCULAR INSTITUTE, a part of Norton Healthcare located in Louisville, Kentucky, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible vascular surgeon to join its growing team. Our team of five board-certifiedand fellowship-trained vascular surgeons and three advanced practice providers works closely with skilled specialists from cardiology, neurology and radiology to evaluate and treat patients with vascular disease. This coordinated approach ensures that patients with vascular disease receive the most comprehensive and personal care.

Norton Heart & Vascular Institutes vascular surgeons perform nearly 2,000 surgeries annually, including over 180 transcarotid artery revascularization, and endovascular aneurysm repair procedures. Norton Heart & Vascular Institute is accredited through the Vascular Quality Initiative. Norton Heart & Vascular Institute is a progressive group of practices that maintains more than 50% of the total cardiovascular market share, more than any other health care provider in our service area. It offers comprehensive cardiovascular care, including specialized programs for electrophysiology, structural heart defects, advanced cardiac imaging,
cardiac critical care and advanced heart failure, including mechanical circulatory support and cardiac rehabilitation.
About the Position:
- Inpatient vascular care coverage at three of Norton Healthcares adult service hospitals in Louisville and Southern Indian
- 11 office locations (five in Louisville and six outreach locations)
- 1 in 6 call coverage; additional call pay offered for 1 in 6 coverage

The physician is responsible for recording a detailed medical history of each patient in the electronic medical record, including, but not limited to, chief complaint, present condition, individual history, and family history. Performing appropriate physical examination of each patient. Analyzing reports and/or findings of tests and personal examinations in order to assess the medical condition of the patient, including diagnosing the patient's injury or illness and formulating a prognosis.
