This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Aftermarket Sales Representative in the United States.
This role is focused on driving revenue growth through the sale and renewal of service contracts, warranties, and aftermarket solutions within the life sciences and biotechnology space. You will engage with existing and prospective customers to maximize service plan adoption, ensuring long-term value and customer satisfaction. Operating remotely within the Southeastern United States, you will act as a key commercial link between customers and internal teams, helping translate technical service offerings into clear business value. The position requires a proactive, consultative sales approach, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to identify opportunities in a fast-evolving scientific market. You will collaborate closely with multiple internal stakeholders to ensure seamless contract execution and customer success. This is a high-impact role where your efforts directly contribute to recurring revenue growth and customer retention.
- Drive bookings and revenue growth through the renewal, conversion, and sale of service contracts, warranties, and aftermarket solutions.
- Manage and forecast aftermarket sales pipelines, ensuring accurate reporting of revenue and booking projections.
- Convert expiring service plans and warranties into renewed agreements using value-based selling strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities through market analysis, data insights, and collaboration with internal teams.
- Collaborate with Customer Support, Sales, Legal, and Finance to ensure smooth contract execution and closing of transactions.
- Maintain and grow customer relationships by positioning service offerings as key value drivers.
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity to uncover opportunities for expansion and retention.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in service sales, account management, customer service, or customer-facing commercial roles.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with a consultative sales mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing a defined regional territory.
- Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel approximately 10%, including within the U.S., Canada, and occasionally internationally.
- Experience in the life sciences or biotechnology industry is considered a strong advantage.
- Competitive hourly rate of $35–$37, with eligibility for bonus and incentive compensation.
