Job Description

Global Technology Alliance Manager, Databricks

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Global Technology Alliance Manager, Databricks based in the United States.

This is a strategic alliances leadership role focused on building and accelerating a high-value global technology partnership.
You’ll own the relationship end to end, serving as the primary connection point between internal teams and a major cloud data platform partner.
The role combines partner strategy, enterprise sales, go-to-market execution, pipeline development, and customer adoption.
You’ll orchestrate closely across Sales, Solutions Architecture, Marketing, Product, and Partner Operations to create repeatable joint programs.
A key priority will be developing strong field relationships and enabling teams to collaborate effectively on solution selling and customer opportunities.
You’ll operate at senior levels within a global technology ecosystem, influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
Success will be measured through mutual customer growth, pipeline creation, revenue impact, partner engagement, and a stronger end-to-end customer buying experience.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the global strategic relationship with the assigned technology partner and serve as the primary point of contact across the partnership.
  • Build trusted relationships with partner executives, sales teams, solution architects, product leaders, marketing stakeholders, and other strategic contacts.
  • Orchestrate collaboration across internal Sales, Partner Solutions Architecture, Marketing, Product, and Partner Operations teams.
  • Establish yourself as a trusted resource for US field sales and pre-sales teams, helping them understand partner capabilities, joint solutions, and opportunities.
  • Connect internal partner sales managers with partner field teams to strengthen solution selling, coordinate opportunities, and deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Develop and execute joint go-to-market strategies with Marketing and Product, balancing repeatable programs with targeted strategic initiatives.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop joint pipeline opportunities rather than focusing solely on relationship management.
  • Drive mutual customer adoption, pipeline generation, revenue growth, and strategic business outcomes across both organizations.
  • Develop programs that generate referrals and create new business opportunities while improving the overall customer buying journey.
  • Communicate partnership priorities, opportunities, challenges, and performance across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as a cross-functional orchestrator, aligning teams and removing barriers despite having no direct authority over many of the stakeholders involved.
  • Continuously identify new opportunities to strengthen the partnership, expand joint solutions, and increase market impact.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic alliances, enterprise sales, partner management, or a related commercial function within the data, cloud, or enterprise software industry.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, global technology partnerships involving multiple internal and external stakeholder groups.
  • Strong understanding of the modern data stack and the business value of open, scalable data infrastructure; experience with data movement, analytics engineering, or comparable technologies is highly valued.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders within large global technology organizations.
  • Strong commercial instincts, with demonstrated success identifying, qualifying, developing, and closing joint pipeline opportunities.
  • Experience developing strategic go-to-market programs that translate technology partnerships into measurable revenue and customer outcomes.
  • Ability to operate as a cross-functional orchestrator, influencing Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Product, and Operations without relying on direct authority.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to connect strategic partnership objectives with practical field execution and customer needs.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve and success depends on proactive ownership and collaboration.
Benefits:
  • On-target earnings: $227,106–$283,883 USD annually.
  • Eligibility to participate in the company’s incentive plan.
  • 100% employer-paid medical insurance, subject to applicable country and worker-type provisions.
  • Generous paid time off, plus paid sick time and holidays.
  • Inclusive parental leave policy.
  • Global Week of Rest at year end.
  • Paid volunteer days.
  • RSU stock grants, where applicable.
  • Professional development and training opportunities.
  • Monthly cell phone stipend.
  • Mental health support platform providing access to therapy, coaching, and self-guided resources for covered employees and dependents.
  • Virtual social events, team-building activities, and other employee engagement programs.
  • Remote work flexibility.
