Join Lake Ridge Bank as a Commercial/Ag Loan Imaging Specialist!
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Commercial and Agriculture Loan Imaging Specialist to join our Loan Operations team. This vital role ensures the accurate and efficient digitization of loan documents, supporting seamless access and retrieval of critical information for our bank’s commercial and agricultural loan portfolios. The home office will be based out of our Cross Plains-Support Center.
Essential Responsibilities
- Scan loan files, and paper documents into the Director system, ensuring clear copy of document is scanned and items are in correct scan folder.
- Verify scanned image and indexing for clarity of documents and keyword input for proper access to documents.
- Import and index electronic loan documents into the Director system after loan closing and booking, ensuring items are in correct scan folder.
- Import and index financial documents into the Director and Sageworks systems, ensuring items are in correct scan folder.
- Maintain tracking of financial documents, updating ticklers in Sageworks upon receipt of required financials from customers.
- Prepare correspondence monthly to provide to customers to request required financial documents and other pending loan documents.
- Communicate with and work with internal customers in a professional, pleasant manner.
- Manage and organize file cabinets and file room such as retention of original documents and boxing documents as needed for storage and retention periods.
- Scan and index original recorded instruments and maintain the Sageworks ticklers.
Adhere to all Bank Security/Compliance Regulations
- Complete all annual bank security and compliance training
- Adhere to Bank Security/compliance and policy guidelines for commercial loan area.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information at all times.
- Stay current on all compliance regulations required through training and education.
Other Responsibilities
- Participate in bank and department meetings.
- Represent the bank in professional and community activities.
- Actively participate in training programs to stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
- Partner effectively across all levels of the organization and develop positive working relationships.
- Continually develop knowledge, skills, and abilities through internal and external training programs.
- Perform all other duties or projects as assigned or requested.
- Other related duties as necessary assigned or requested.
- Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, business and/or similar field of education and/or 1-2 previous work experience in a financial institution setting.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills (especially listening and verbal) to communicate and relate effectively with customers and associates.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently & accurately.
- Demonstrated ability in exercising independent judgment.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and remain calm while working in a fast paced/deadline driven environment.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, proficient typing/keyboarding skills and the ability and willingness to learn new programs and software.
- Ability to put forth the extra effort necessary to ensure a successful operation, including but not limited to working additional hours, attending educational programs, etc.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English clearly.
- Ability to represent the organization in a professional, positive manner.
- Willingness to work toward the goals and performance standards of the department with a focus on the bank and department mission statements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a loan operations area or lending environment, preferably within a financial institution setting.
- Previous experience with Fiserv operating systems.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, proficient typing/keyboarding skills.
