The Service Center Technician supports efficient building operations and administrative services by performing a wide range of mailroom, copy center, and facility-related tasks. This position ensures the timely delivery of mail and packages, manages printing and office supply needs, assists with event and departmental projects, and provides backup coverage for reception. The Service Center Technician plays a key role in maintaining a well-organized, clean, and customer-focused environment while contributing to the smooth operation of the Service Center and supporting the needs of all departments through reliable, high-quality service.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Open, sort, process, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Prepare certified mail and bulk mailings, including envelope stuffing and labeling
  • Operate and maintain copiers, printers, scanners, and postage equipment
  • Handle print and copy requests in an efficient manner
  • Maintain and order supplies for copy center and ensure kitchen is stocked
  • Assist with office moves, cleaning offices, cubicles, and other areas
  • Cover the front desk: greet visitors, answer and route calls, and manage sign-ins
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • 1+ year of experience in a mail and/or copy center services preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite - Excel, Word, and Fiery preferred
  • Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift, move, and/or carry up to 60 lbs.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
