Position Overview:
OPM, Inc. (www.opminc.com) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our growing real estate team. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to build a long-term career in property management, with a structured pathway to be promoted into a Property Manager position within 3–6 months based on performance and training completion.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the property management team
  • Assist with tenant communications, including emails, notices, and follow-ups
  • Process and track rent payments, maintenance requests, and work orders
  • Maintain accurate tenant and property records in property management software (e.g., AppFolio)
  • Coordinate with vendors and schedule maintenance services
  • Support leasing activities, including application processing and document preparation
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations
  • Assist with reporting, file management, and general office operations

Training & Growth Path:

  • Comprehensive hands-on training in property management operations
  • Direct mentorship from experienced Property Managers
  • Exposure to leasing, maintenance coordination, tenant relations, and financial operations
  • Opportunity for promotion to Property Manager within 3–6 months based on performance, initiative, and mastery of responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of administrative or office experience (real estate experience is a plus, but not required)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or property management software preferred
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn
