Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday - Friday 35 hours

Salary: $20.00 an hour

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma

Credentials: Possession of a valid NYS Driver’s license and a driver's record considered acceptable by agency and insurance carrier.

Experience: Two years’ experience with volunteer-based programs.

At least two years’ experience working with youth and families preferred.

Previous experience with community relations, non-profit program coordination, or work with older adults is preferred.

Relevant years of experience and education will be considered

General Description

Assists with ensuring the Faith in Action Program achieves its mission of assisting eligible individuals who need assistance to remain independent in their home with the support of trained and caring program volunteers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Check/respond to phone requests for client transportation.

· Enters transportation information into transportation calendar.

· Maintain with Volunteer Transportation Assistant for staff assigned transports and assist to schedule volunteer drivers. Follow-up with clients and volunteers as needed.

· Provides transportation for clients in program vehicle.

· Maintains accurate records in computer database.

· Assist Director of Volunteer and Community Outreach with monthly data collection.

· Assists Director of Volunteer and Community Outreach with volunteer management.

· Complete weekly vehicle check list and mileage records.

· Maintains positive relationships with volunteers, clients and community partners.

· Assist Director of Volunteer and Community Outreach to strengthen and expand the program.

· Attends agency functions, as requested.

· Participate in staff meetings.

· Attends mandatory training.

· Ensures that all CCSL clients are treated with dignity and respect.

· Respects confidentiality of all CCSL clients.

· Completes other duties as assigned.

· Continuous use of a reliable, registered, and insured vehicle.

· Ability to prioritize assignments, plan, and complete work projects with minimal direction

· Exceptional time management skills and ability to effectively and meet deadlines

· Excellent verbal/written skills

· Ability to work in the following software programs: Windows, Microsoft Office, and multiple online software platforms as required by funders and partner organizations

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle confidential information with discretion

· Ability to demonstrate behaviors and attitudes which support organizational mission, philosophy, and policies

· Ability to work in a cooperative and helpful manner with all individuals

· Willingness and ability to foster agency and program wide cooperation and teamwork through use of positive/constructive communication techniques
