This is a remote opportunity supporting high-impact healthcare programs serving federal clients, with a strong focus on Veteran-centered initiatives.
The role combines end-to-end project management, healthcare consulting, stakeholder engagement, and program transformation.
You will lead multidisciplinary teams and work directly with stakeholders ranging from program coordinators to senior executives.

You will oversee high-visibility deliverables, performance measurement, operational processes, and project outcomes.
The environment is collaborative, fast-paced, and mission-driven, with opportunities to contribute to client relationships and future growth.
Travel may be required for client meetings and program activities, while the role remains primarily remote.

Accountabilities
  • Lead full lifecycle project management activities for Veteran-focused healthcare programs, ensuring delivery against scope, timelines, budgets, staffing, quality standards, and federal contract requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including clinical and non-clinical professionals, program teams, and senior executives, to design and implement effective healthcare interventions.
  • Conduct current-state assessments, journey mapping, industry research, and analysis of existing practices to identify opportunities for improvement and develop future-state recommendations.
  • Lead the creation of high-visibility deliverables such as business cases, change and communications plans, operations manuals, evaluation plans, presentations, and other program materials.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, quality control plans, operational workflows, and other tools that improve consistency, efficiency, and service quality.
  • Establish measurement approaches and support data-driven decision-making by monitoring performance indicators such as response rates, data quality, and operational effectiveness.
  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues that could affect program performance or delivery.
  • Lead project teams, including employees and subcontractors, while fostering an accountable, collaborative, and high-performing environment and supporting the onboarding of new team members.
  • Manage project schedules, resources, budgets, reporting requirements, and performance expectations while ensuring alignment with applicable government and client standards.
  • Maintain productive client relationships and identify opportunities for follow-on work, expanded services, task orders, and other business development initiatives in collaboration with leadership.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 11 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with relevant professional experience in consulting, healthcare, government health organizations, or large integrated healthcare delivery systems.
  • PMP certification is required, with additional certifications such as Prosci, Lean Six Sigma, or SAFe Agile considered an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience with project management methodologies, healthcare consulting, process improvement, change management, human-centered design, market or environmental analysis, and qualitative or quantitative research.
  • Experience designing, launching, managing, or evaluating healthcare programs, pilots, interventions, or transformation initiatives.
  • Strong ability to facilitate working groups involving diverse stakeholders and translate complex concepts into clear, actionable information for different audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop business cases, operational documentation, presentation materials, communications, and other executive-level deliverables.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs or large healthcare systems is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities, competing deadlines, and complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be authorized to work indefinitely in the United States without sponsorship and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required for government or client meetings and program activities.
Benefits
  • Salary range of $100,000–$120,000, with actual compensation determined by factors including location, education, experience, skills, competencies, and organizational or contract requirements.
  • Remote work environment within the United States.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance options.
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs).
  • Disability and life insurance coverage.
  • Retirement plan.
  • Paid time off.
  • Additional programs and resources designed to support employees and their families.
  • Opportunities to work on mission-focused healthcare initiatives supporting federal clients and Veteran-centered programs.
  • Potential opportunities for professional growth through exposure to healthcare transformation, program development, consulting, and federal healthcare environments.
