Cardiac Rehab RN in Pinehurst, North Carolina at FirstHealth of the Carolinas

Occasionally travels to other FirstHealth Cardiac Rehab locations to include Pinehurst, Rockingham, Sanford, and Troy during times of decreased staffing.

Assesses the patient’s condition/status and prioritizes individualized needs. Identifies clinical significance of data. Provides emergency care when indicated. Must be able to function in a group setting with varied patient funcational abilities, accurately collect the patient's exercise data and modify exercise levels/intensities based on the individualized exercise prescription to maintain patient safety. Effectively performs unit-based competencies.

Works IP 1-2 times per week to complete cardiac rehab consultations for ambulation & education.

Required to complete OP Cardiac Rehab new patient assessments.

Currently licensed to practice nursing in N.C. Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. At least two years clinical experience with the cardiac patient preferred. At least two years’ experience in patient education preferred. ACLS required, telemetry knowledge and interpretation required.
