Mount Vernon Dental Smiles is seeking an experienced, motivated Lead Dental Assistant to join our exceptional team in Alexandria, Virginia. • Minimum of 3 years of dental assisting experience
• Previous experience in a lead dental assistant role or demonstrated leadership abilities preferred
• Experience assisting with dental implants
• Experience with clear aligner therapy
• Exposure to endodontic procedures is a plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Positive attitude with a team-first mindset
• Ability to help mentor and support fellow team members
• Current radiology certification and any state-required credentials
• Open Dental and iTero experience a plus

• Monday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Wednesday: Off
• Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (every other Saturday)

Education and Training

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-year related experience and /or training; or equivalent of combination of education and experience in the dental profession.
• Valid X-ray certificate.
• Current license if CDA, RDA, or EFDA (per state requirements)
• CPR & first aid certificate.

FLSA Status: Hourly
