This is a senior brand and communications leadership role responsible for shaping how a fast-growing B2B technology company is understood by its market.
You will own the company’s narrative direction, translating strategy and market insights into compelling messaging and creative across channels.
The role combines brand strategy, editorial leadership, creative direction, executive communications, and external positioning.
You will work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional Marketing teams to define category-level arguments and bring them to life consistently.
You will also build and manage a high-quality freelance creative network spanning design, video, and motion.
From websites and campaigns to industry events, thought leadership, and conference submissions, you will help create a cohesive and differentiated brand presence.
This is an opportunity to have significant influence over brand perception while working in a remote, collaborative, and high-growth environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the overall brand direction and creative approach, ensuring that the visual identity, writing style, and messaging system remain consistent and continue to evolve across every customer-facing surface.
  • Recruit, evaluate, and manage a network of freelance graphic designers, video producers, and motion designers, including sourcing, rates, turnaround expectations, briefing, performance, and quality standards.
  • Develop clear and actionable creative briefs that enable external and internal contributors to execute effectively with minimal ambiguity.
  • Maintain brand standards and provide creative direction across websites, blogs, campaigns, event materials, and other marketing assets.
  • Own the website and blog CMS at the template, information architecture, and publishing levels, ensuring content is structured and presented effectively.
  • Direct creative for major field marketing events and high-impact campaign initiatives, while advising Growth, Product Marketing, and performance marketing partners on creative direction.
  • Partner with senior leadership to define the top-of-funnel narrative, identify compelling category-level arguments, and sequence them across formats, campaigns, and quarters.
  • Develop and manage executive voices and thought leadership initiatives, ensuring messaging is consistent and aligned with broader brand strategy.
  • Set communications strategy with external agency partners and manage those relationships as the primary client.
  • Own speaking and conference submissions, aligning topics and narratives with the event calendar and ensuring high-quality submissions are delivered on time.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in brand, editorial, communications, or a closely related field, including experience at a B2B SaaS company selling to enterprise buying committees.
  • Strong writing portfolio demonstrating the ability to create thought leadership, articulate value propositions, establish differentiation, and communicate complex ideas clearly.
  • Demonstrated visual judgment and creative direction skills, with the ability to art-direct designers and provide clear, constructive feedback on layouts and creative concepts.
  • Experience recruiting and managing freelance creative talent, including sourcing, negotiating rates, setting expectations, providing briefs, managing quality, and making decisions about ongoing engagements.
  • Strong understanding of brand systems, messaging frameworks, editorial voice, creative production, and integrated marketing.
  • Experience collaborating with senior executives and cross-functional marketing teams to develop and communicate company narratives.
  • Hands-on fluency with content management systems and marketing automation tools, particularly Framer and HubSpot.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with the ability to execute hands-on in a fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent communication, organization, judgment, and relationship-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple creative and communications priorities simultaneously.
Benefits:
  • Remote work environment.
  • Competitive salary and equity package.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits.
  • Flexible paid time off.
  • Fast-moving, collaborative, and high-growth working environment.
  • Significant opportunity to shape brand strategy, market positioning, and the future of customer experience technology.
