JOB DESCRIPTION:
The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) Department of Radiology invites applications for a full-time Emergency Radiologist to provide overnight imaging interpretation across our growing Gulf Coast multi-campus health system. This is an outstanding opportunity for a radiologist who values clinical excellence, schedule predictability, and the stability and academic richness of a distinguished academic medical center.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provide full-time, on-site overnight Emergency Radiology coverage across UTMB campuses on a 7-on/14-off schedule (10:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m.). Interpret high-acuity, high-volume emergency imaging, including radiography, CT, MRI, and ultrasound, for trauma, stroke, acute vascular, and complex multi-system cases across multiple subspecialties. Support timely and accurate diagnostic services within UTMB's integrated academic radiology practice.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- MD or DO degree.
- Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Radiology.
- Fellowship training in cardiothoracic imaging
- Certificate of Added Qualification in Cardiac CT.
- Valid Texas Medical License, or ability to obtain prior to start.
- Eligibility for appointment to the UTMB medical staff.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
