Job Description

Description:

Camp is calling. This isn't just a summer job, it's a mission.

Spend your summer building the moments campers talk about all year. As a Creative Programming Associate, you'll plan and run all-camp games, sign-up activities, and High School Week programming, turning a schedule into something campers actually get excited about.

If you're looking for something that actually matters, not just a paycheck, this is it.

What You'll Do
  • Plan, set up, facilitate, and tear down all-camp games and sign-up activities
  • Assist in coordinating and supervising staff training and maintenance of activity areas
  • Coordinate with Village Leaders on use of activity areas
  • Serve as a facilitator for departmental program offerings when needed
  • Assist with Sunday camper drop-off and Saturday camper pick-up
  • Participate in camp activities planned by the Recreation and Ministry Departments, primarily after dinner hours
  • Flex into other roles and temporary assignments as needed, including Cabin Leader
What You Get
  • $275/week + housing and meals included
  • Real event planning and program design experience, start to finish
  • Live on-site with a built-in community
  • Leadership and logistics experience that stands out on a resume
  • A summer that impacts lives, including your own
Important Role Details
  • This is a live-in, residential role
  • Requires active participation in a Christian ministry environment
Requirements:

What We're Looking For

  • A professing Christian with a personal faith
  • Creativity paired with follow-through, able to take an idea from concept to execution
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort managing logistics and multiple moving parts
  • High energy and confidence leading large groups
  • Willingness to be fully engaged in a live-in summer camp environment

Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift and move at least 50 pounds
  • Able to work outdoors in hot and humid conditions for extended periods
  • Able to stand and move for extended periods during setup, activities, and teardown
Summer Schedule
  • Staff Training: June 1 – June 12
  • Camp Sessions: June 13 – August 7
Why This Role Matters

You'll spend the summer running events in front of hundreds of people, and you'll find out fast what works and what doesn't. That's project management, public speaking, and creative problem solving all at once, and it's rare to get that much practice in one season. You'll also be the reason a camper's best memory of the summer is a game you invented on a Tuesday. That's a summer worth having.

Additional Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Employment is contingent on background and reference checks
