Job Description
We are a busy, growing cardiology practice seeking an experienced Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong medical billing and revenue-cycle experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced specialty practice.
Responsibilities
- Submit and follow up on insurance claims
- Work insurance denials, rejections, and appeals
- Review claims for accuracy and appropriate billing
- Verify insurance information and resolve eligibility or authorization-related billing issues
- Post payments as needed
- Identify recurring billing issues and help improve revenue-cycle workflows
- Work closely with physicians, clinical staff, and practice management
- Maintain compliance with payer requirements, HIPAA, and billing regulations
Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of medical billing experience preferred
- Cardiology billing experience strongly preferred
- CPC or AHIMA Certification strongly preferred
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, modifiers, and medical terminology
- Experience working denials and A/R
- Knowledge of Medicare and commercial insurance billing
- Experience with cardiology services such as office visits, EKGs, echocardiograms, stress testing, monitors, cardiac procedures, and hospital billing is a plus
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively as part of a team
Position
Full-Time – Monday through Friday
No weekends
Compensation

The potential base pay range for this position is $24-$28 per hour.

Final compensation and benefit eligibility may vary by role and employment status and will be confirmed at the time of offer. Benefits, PTO, and Holiday Pay are only available to employees working 24 hours or more per week.
