Crouse Health is hiring a Patient Access Systems Analyst.

Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift, 8:00am-4:30pm

Pay Range: $93,600.00 / annual

Patient Access Systems Analyst Position Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot system issues related to patient access applications and collaborates with department leadership on resolution.
• Epic Proficiency in Cadance and Prelude.
• Enhance the patient experience by optimizing patient throughput to improve the admission process.
• Routinely analyzes workflow and system processes for effectiveness and provides improvement recommendations when found to be inefficient.
• Assist department trainers with resources needed to educate staff on new system enhancements.
• Accurately analyzes and distributes reports to department leadership.
• Assumes other duties as assigned by department leadership.

Patient Access Systems Analyst Position Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in Health Information Technology, Computer Science, or combined high school diploma and five (5) years of equivalent experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred.
• Minimum two (2) to (5) years analysis, reporting, and EMR experience in a hospital or similar setting required.
• Previous Epic EMR experience related to scheduling, registration, real time eligibility, and admissions; background in healthcare information systems, healthcare revenue knowledge preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, Detail oriented, Microsoft Suite experience, Data Visualization, Data Integrity, must complete Epic training requirements.
