Job Overview
We are hiring experienced Traffic Control Persons (TCPs) and Lane Closure Technicians (LCTs) for ongoing infrastructure and roadway projects across the Lower Mainland.
This role is for experienced traffic control workers who are looking for a more stable, organized, and professional field environment with consistent work

What We Offer
- $22–$30/hour (based on experience)
- Union position (LiUNA 1611)
- Consistent, ongoing work across the Lower Mainland

Minimum Requirements
Traffic Control Person (TCP)- Minimum 6 months experience in traffic control
- Valid TCP certification required
- Reliable vehicle
- Minimum 1 year experience in lane closures or traffic control operations
- Valid TCP certification required
- Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record

What You'll Be Doing
Traffic Control Person (TCP)- Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices (cones, signs, barricades)
- Direct traffic safely in active work zones using approved hand signals and equipment
- Maintain safe separation between traffic, workers, and work zones
- Follow site-specific traffic control plans and supervisor instructions
- Monitor traffic conditions and adjust positioning as required
- Lead and coordinate traffic control setups on site
- Supervise TCPs during setup and takedown operations
- Implement and adjust lane closures based on Traffic Management Plans (TMPs)
- Communicate directly with supervisors, contractors, and crews on site
- Ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations and site safety standards
- Maintain efficient traffic flow during changing site conditions

- Dispatch-based scheduling with weekday availability required
- Occasional weekend work as needed
