- Handle incoming calls and inquiries related to medical record requests while delivering professional and responsive customer service.
- Research, review, and resolve issues submitted via phone, email, or written correspondence in a timely and accurate manner.
- Document all communications, updates, and resolutions within internal systems and databases.
- Process release-of-information requests while adhering to HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards.
- Maintain productivity and quality assurance benchmarks in a high-volume call center environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and management to address workflow issues and improve service delivery.
- Follow all company procedures, client-specific requirements, and compliance protocols.
- Participate in mandatory training sessions and complete certification requirements related to release-of-information processes.
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Previous experience in customer service, call center support, data entry, medical records, healthcare administration, insurance claims processing, or related fields is preferred.
- Experience using multi-line phone systems and strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume production environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly customer service approach.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and healthcare privacy standards.
- Must successfully complete required ROI certification training and annual HIPAA assessments.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a distraction-free remote work environment are required.
- Availability to work full-time Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST.
- Competitive hourly compensation ranging from $15.00 to $18.32 USD, depending on experience and location.
