MARKETING ASSISTANT in Port Orange, Florida at Rue & Ziffra

The Marketing Assistant provides vital support to the Marketing Director and the marketing team. This role involves a range of tasks aimed at facilitating effective marketing initiatives and enhancing community engagement. This position is on-site with the potential for some hybrid work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and coordinate meetings for the marketing team.
• Assist with the organize of and participate in events, ensuring smooth execution and follow-up; includes occasional nights and weekends.
• Assist with staff appreciation initiatives and activities.
• Research and manage inventory for promotional items related to upcoming events.
• Collaborate with graphic designers to create promotional materials (ads, social media graphics, etc.).
• Support the coordination of school advertising efforts, including banner renewals and scoreboard updates.
• Manage ordering processes and track inventory and spending for marketing materials.
• Assist with marketing vendors.
• Prepare and distribute the monthly staff newsletter.
• Maintain budget tracking for sponsorships, products, RZCares, and giveaways.
• Help build and nurture business relationships within the community.
• Assist in filtering and managing sponsorship requests.
• Generate and manage content for social media platforms, including regular updates and engagement.
• Additional duties as necessary to support the marketing team.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in social media platforms and basic graphic design tools.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with marketing principles and community engagement strategies.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Required to use personal cell phone for two-factor authentication as needed.
