Reports to: Pekin Office
Starting Salary: Up to $80,000/year, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-Time
Travel: Regular travel to local customers and contract sites required
Requirements: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
MMS is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Reliability Specialist to support reliability initiatives across multiple customer locations and business units. This role partners with site leadership, maintenance teams, and operational staff to improve equipment reliability, maintenance performance, and operational efficiency.
This is a hands-on role focused on problem-solving, process improvement, and driving operational success across multiple sites.
What You’ll Do- Support reliability improvement efforts across multiple customer sites
- Partner with leadership to identify and implement operational improvements
- Drive projects focused on equipment reliability and maintenance performance
- Monitor KPIs, including downtime, MTBF, MTTR, PM effectiveness, and asset availability
- Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Support operational and quality audits
- Strengthen preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Standardize reliability practices and reporting across sites
- Prepare performance updates and improvement plans for leadership and customers
A typical day may include visiting local customer sites, reviewing maintenance data, supporting troubleshooting efforts, conducting audits, collaborating with site leadership, and helping implement process improvements that reduce downtime and improve operational performance.
Requirements: Required Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in reliability, maintenance, engineering, operations, or continuous improvement
- Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, and reliability practices
- Experience leading or supporting cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience with CMMS/EAM systems and maintenance performance analysis
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Reliability, Maintenance, or Project Management certifications
- Experience with Power BI, Power Apps, SQL, or Python
- Multi-site or customer-facing operational experience
