POSITION SUMMARY:Under the direction of the Pharmacy Supervisor, the Pharmacy Shipping Clerk is responsible for packing and shipping prescriptions according to client specifications and is responsible for other duties assigned.
Responsibilities

• Perform routine and professional pharmacy functions.
• Accurately pack and ship prescription orders for KnippeRx in a timely manner.
• Responsible for stocking freezers with gel packs.
• Follow all procedures and pack-out processes when shipping an order.
• Respect and follow HIPAA and privacy law guidelines, and any other local or federal laws.
• Follow and aid in enforcement of all company policies and procedures.
• Perform Quality Assurance checks on automated technology specific to pharmacy equipment and shipping requirements
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work site.
• Responsible for keeping an adequate stock of boxes and supplies at shipping station.

Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year pharmacy experience preferred
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Ability to lift 20lbs

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Location of job activities 100% inside
• Must be available for evenings and weekend shifts if needed
• Noise and / or vibrations exposure
• Reaching (overhead), and handling
• Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Sufficient to operate standard office equipment
• Stand, bend, and sit for prolonged periods of time in front of a computer
• Lift, carry, and move up to 25 pounds

The actual compensation for the position may vary based on market differences and on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and can vary based on location and/or work schedule.
