Are you a hands-on, strategic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to bring people, resources, and priorities together? We’re seeking an experienced Director of Facility Operations to lead multiple teams and ensure our community consistently exceeds expectations for safety, cleanliness, and comfort.
This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who enjoys multitasking, mentoring teams, and managing complex operations—all while maintaining a culture of care and service.
A Typical Day:
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and motivate supervisors and frontline teams
- Establish departmental goals, policies, and procedures
- Foster teamwork, accountability, and a service-focused culture
Operational Excellence
- Oversee maintenance, housekeeping, grounds, and security operations
- Implement preventive maintenance and efficient scheduling
- Assess performance, staffing needs, and equipment usage
People Management
- Hire, train, coach, and evaluate staff
- Conduct performance reviews and manage corrective actions
- Drive employee engagement, training, and development
Budget & Resource Management
- Develop and manage the departmental budget
- Ensure responsible use of resources and community funds
- Maintain timely and accurate financial processes
Collaboration & Compliance
- Partner with clinical, administrative, and operational teams
- Participate in facility committees as needed
- Ensure compliance with Resident Rights and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (business management preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in hospitality, senior living, or a community-based environment
- Proven supervisory experience, including staffing, scheduling, and performance management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
