Job Description
Position Overview
QLC is seeking a self-motivated Sales Representative to manage and grow our Northern Wisconsin and Minnesota territory. This role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives on prospecting, building relationships from the ground up, and owning the full sales cycle. The Sales Representative will develop new business, expand existing accounts, and serve as a trusted advisor by matching customer needs with QLC’s equipment, parts, and service solutions.
This position is well suited for someone who is comfortable working independently, creating opportunities, and driving results through consistent outreach and follow-through.
Key Responsibilities
-Identify, prospect, and develop new customer relationships within the assigned territory
-Grow existing accounts by identifying new applications, equipment, and service opportunities
-Plan and execute a territory sales strategy focused on sustainable growth
-Conduct customer meetings and on-site visits to assess needs and recommend solutions
-Present equipment and service solutions and guide customers through the sales process
-Prepare and present proposals and coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction
-Maintain regular communication with customers to build long-term partnerships
-Track activities and progress toward sales goals

-A proactive, self-directed sales professional who is comfortable creating new opportunities
-Strong relationship-building and communication skills
-Ability to manage a territory independently and prioritize activities effectively
-Consultative mindset with the ability to understand customer challenges and recommend solutions
-Comfort working in manufacturing and industrial environments
Qualifications
-Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
-Three (3) or more years of experience in sales, field service, or project management preferred
-Experience in packaging, labeling, or manufacturing equipment industries is a plus
-Technical aptitude; electronics or IT background a plus
-Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout Northern Wisconsin and Minnesota
Work Environment & Travel
This is a remote-based position with regular travel throughout Northern Wisconsin and Minnesota. Work involves visiting customer sites, including manufacturing and industrial facilities.
