Responsibilities

• Professionally and efficiently provide emergent nursing care to patients utilizing accepted nursing practices and procedures
• Administer medications as ordered and directed by the physician
• Delegate patient care duties to non-licensed personnel
• Direct, monitor and evaluate all patient care activities
• Compassionately uphold the standards of professional nursing care with empathy and concern for the comfort and healing of infant through geriatric patient populations

Requirements

• Graduation from accredited school of nursing
• License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Utah
• Strong clinical skills with ability to think critically and perform effectively and efficiently during times of crisis
• Ability to prioritize, work independently and use good judgment
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to perform duties with compassion and empathy
• Ability to maintain composure and flexibility in a demanding environment
