Kitchen Team at Urth Caffe – Santa Monica, California

We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our team, PM Shift. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by ensuring all dishes are washed and stored properly.
• Keep dishwashing area clean and safe.
• Assist with basic food prep tasks as needed.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables appropriately
• Cleaning and resetting tables promptly
• Assisting servers with food delivery
• Cleaning and sanitizing dining areas

Experience:

• Prior experience in a restaurant setting is preferred
• Familiarity with food handling and basic kitchen operations
• Knowledge of food safety guidelines and practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to adhere to health and safety regulations.

Physical Requirements:

• The ability to lift 25/pounds regularly & un-assisted
• The ability to respond quickly to sounds
• The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
• The ability to safely climb ladders
• The ability to work in cold temperatures
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day
• The ability to perform repetitive standing, walking, squatting, bending, kneeling, twisting, stooping, balancing, reaching, pushing
