Position Summary:The Moors & Cabot Summer Internship Program provides current college students the ability to gain practical experience within the Financial Services industry. This summer will be filled with meaningful work, hands-on experience, mentorship from experienced leaders, and networking opportunities. At the conclusion of the program, you will present on projects accomplished and key learning takeaways to your peers and other team members of Moors & Cabot. As a Moors & Cabot Intern, you won't just be learning—you will be building. This role offers an end-to-end perspective of the marketing lifecycle, taking projects from initial strategic concept to full-scale execution. By immersing yourself in a variety of digital and traditional mediums, you will gain the specialized industry insight needed to excel within Moors & Cabot. This full-time role reports to the Manager of Financial Analysis & Business Intelligence and is based out of our Boston headquarters. Working hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST on a hybrid schedule: at least 3 days in office and up to 2 days remote.
Role ResponsibilitiesAdvertisingDevelop and deploy Brand Awareness Campaigns, including social media advertisementsAnalyze campaign results and suggest refinements to targeting criteria and/or messagingAssist in social media efforts with new ideas and suggestions to enhance effectivenessAssist with drafting communication and presentations for internal and external audiencesSupport the creation of marketing assets which provide a differentiated benefitAI & AutomationAnalyze under-utilized HubSpot capabilities, particularly in areas of AI campaign management, lead follow-up and automated repliesDevelop HubSpot workflows adding scale and automation to marketing outreach effortsCross-collaborate with IT and Compliance departments on AI project workMarket and Competitive ResearchAnalyze competitor tactics, aesthetics and messaging in M&C local marketsProposed/Recommend tactical initiatives across digital channelsHands-On Creative DevelopmentGain exposure to a breadth of creative development activities, from image and video editing, to financial literacy content in support of advisor relationship managementHelp with the creation and design of new email and presentation templatesWrite and edit official communications and templates for online and print distribution and validate with compliance officersCoordinate and support client events on behalf of advisors and the firmContinually report status and take direction from marketing leadership

Minimum RequirementsA current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related fieldExperience creating, designing, and writing marketing collateral using relevant tools (Adobe Suite, Video Editing tools, etc.)Basic experience in relevant marketing skills such as content development, digital banners, photos, videos, graphic design, template creation, and marketing analyticsStrong written communication skillsCreative, highly professional, and detail-oriented
Preferred RequirementsExperience with HubSpot, Adobe Suite, Google Suite, Canva, WixExperience executing social media or marketing campaigns for a business or organization
