Field Service Technician at Schwing America Inc – White Bear Lake, Minnesota

Provide field service repair support to customers on all Schwing products. Conduct new equipment start-ups at customer site. Properly document service repairs and submit warranties as needed.

Requirements

Physical Demands:

• Standing, bending, stretching, kneeling while making repairs to equipment.
• Be prepared to work in all types of different climates and weather conditions.
• Perform stationary work a minimum of 10% of the time using a computer for reporting purposes.
• Travel a minimum of 80%.

Education/Skills/Experience:

• Degree in electro-mechanical field, related field, or equivalent experience.
• Specialized training in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Ability to read schematics and drawings for troubleshooting reasons.
• Boom, equipment operating experience on Schwing or related concrete pumping equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Computer skills in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
