Job Title: IPA Accounts Coordinator

Department: Provider Network Management

Reports To: IPA and Health Plan Accounts Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Job Summary:

The IPA Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the IPA and Health Plan Accounts Manager by ensuring smooth operations between the health plan and contracted Independent Physician Associations (IPAs). This position is primarily responsible for monitoring the timely submission of provider rosters, maintaining organized records, and facilitating effective communication with IPA representatives to resolve discrepancies and ensure updates. Additional responsibilities include assisting with reporting, documentation, and coordination across departments, supporting internal teams with accurate IPA information, and participating in process improvement initiatives to enhance data integrity. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and compliance with CMS, DHCS, and other regulatory guidelines related to IPA management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Track and ensure timely receipt of provider rosters from contracted IPAs.

· Maintain organized records of roster submissions and audit findings.

· Communicate with IPA representatives to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely updates.

· Assist with random and ad hoc tasks related to IPA operations, including reporting, documentation, and coordination with other departments.

· Support internal teams by providing updated IPA information and responding to inquiries.

· Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance IPA coordination and data integrity.

· Ensure compliance with CMS, DHCS, and other regulatory guidelines as they pertain to IPA management.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

· Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare administration, provider network operations, or managed care.

· Familiarity with IPA structures and provider data management.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft suite and other data management tools.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

· Fast learner with the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and processes.

· Highly organized and able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

· Strong time management skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal teams and IPA representatives.

Preferred Skills:

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel, with the ability to manage and analyze data effectively.

· Familiarity with Medicare and Medi-Cal terminology and processes (preferred).

· Strong communication skills, with the ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English clearly and effectively to interact with members, providers, and internal staff.

· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and efficiently.

· Commitment to confidentiality, with a strong understanding of privacy standards and the importance of safeguarding sensitive information.

· Professional demeanor, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and members in both individual and team settings.
