The Role
In the OR, seconds and millimeters matter. As a Surgical Technologist, you are the expert right hand of the surgeon. You don’t just assist; you anticipate. From complex instrumentation to high-tech drills, you ensure every piece of equipment is ready before the surgeon even asks for it.
Your Impact
- The Sterile Expert: You are the primary defender of the aseptic field. You maintain a flawless environment, safeguarding patient safety from preparation to the final stitch.
- The Tech Specialist: You’ll master everything from basic tools to advanced surgical robotics, ensuring all instrumentation is properly assembled, tested, and ready for action.
- The Strategic Partner: Working under the Nurse Manager, you’ll stay two steps ahead—monitoring sterilization processes, managing complex equipment, and keeping the surgical workflow moving with clinical excellence.

Hourly Pay Rate: $24.00 - $35.40
Qualifications
Education:

Requires a high school diploma or GED.

Must have graduated from a vocational program for Surgical Technicians or Technologist.

Three (3) years of on-the-job training experience may be accepted in place of completion of a vocational program.
Experience:
-
Prefer three to five (3-5) years of experience with diverse surgical specialties.
Certification/Licensure:
-
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is required.

Requires BLS card obtained through an approved American Heart Association (AHA) training center upon hire.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.

Requires specialized knowledge and skills in operating room practices.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills are utilized to enhance and encourage collaborative staff and community relationships.

Must be able to respond quickly and be familiar with operating procedures to have instruments ready for surgeons.
