About This Position
Assist with business management, engineering, and marketing functions of the Auxiliaries (Portable Dryers, TCU’s, Chillers, Granulators, Blenders, and Material Handling) product lines marketed by Wittmann USA. Mainly responsible for maintaining and updating equipment documentation, equipment/stock lists, and price lists.
- Update equipment presentations and documentation.
- Maintain equipment/stock lists.
- Assist with the creation of presentations, technical articles, and marketing activities.
- Assists with daily administrative functions ensuring smooth operational flow across product categories.
- Review and monitor costing of equipment. Maintain pricing lists.
- Assist with conducting application testing.
- Maintain communication with Wittmann global manufacturing locations and subsidiaries. Communicate updates in costing, inventory, engineering and service.
- Support inside and outside sales staff. Provides product, service, and equipment information by answering questions and requests.
- Research competitive products and perform analysis vis a vis Wittmann offerings. Generate feedback with regard to strengths and weaknesses, (SWOT), of Wittmann items as well as competitive pricing analysis.
- Assist with evaluating effectiveness of selling tools, design and implement changes/improvements as appropriate to sales organization.
- Assist with seminars and selected trade shows / exhibitions where Wittmann products are featured and presented.
- Manage units shipped to field as loaners and trials. Periodically review units under evaluations.
- Communicate with cross-functional teams regarding product information exchange
Education: Associate degree in an engineering or business-related field preferred.
Experience: One to three years of experience technical sales, business management, or engineering preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
This position requires knowledge of Microsoft Office products; mechanical aptitude and engineering skills preferred. Candidate must be able to work effectively independently and as a team player. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Manage priorities and work efficiently to keep up with workloads on a timely basis. Candidate must be able to develop a working knowledge of operation and application of products managed.
