JOB SUMMARY:

Under limited supervision, the RN with the Vascular Access team at Sinai Hospital is responsible for coordinating vascular access needs of all patients (Pediatric through Geriatric). Functions as a resource to the organization, meeting the needs and requests of the nursing and provider staff. Responsible for assisting with the development of policies and procedures related to vascular access.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field
• BSN preferred
• 1-3 years’ experience with ultrasound IV starts required
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse, Registered to practice in Maryland
• American Heart Association BLS Certification
