Occupational Therapist in North Kansas City, Missouri at North Kansas City Hospital

SUMMARY: SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Department Director and the Occupational Therapy Supervisor, provides quality occupational therapy services to patients through evaluation and administration of treatment to restore function and prevent disabilities.

Occupational Therapist to perform evaluation and treatment for pediatrics patients in outpatient area and also support in acute care (adults) for evaluation and treatment.

Work schedule to be 4-10 hour days, 8 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. with day off to be determined at time of hire. Candidate will be required to work 2 weekend days/ month and 1 holiday per year minimum.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

LICENSE/CERT: Required: NBCOT (National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy), BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), OTR (Occupational Therapist)

EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors - Occupational Therapy
