The Nurse Director reports to the Vice President of Nursing Services and is responsible for the operational, fiscal, and clinical managerial direction of assigned nursing units at all times. The Nurse Director is also responsible for managing and directing the nursing care provided by all levels of staff members assigned. The Nurse Director must possess the ability to effectively assess, plan and implement therapeutic nursing services in a multidisciplinary setting. Qualifications: - Graduate of accredited school of nursing for Registered Nurses. - Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Louisiana - BSN or actively pursuing same - Three years of clinical experience - National certification in area supervising preferred - Masters degree in Nursing, Business, or Health Care preferred
