We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with NetSuite and a solid understanding of general accounting principles. This role works closely with the accounting team to support month-end close, reconciliations, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
  • Prepare schedules and documentation for audits and tax filings
  • Utilize NetSuite for transaction processing, reporting, and account analysis
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies
Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2–4 years of accounting experience
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite (required)
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP preferred)
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or SaaS environments
  • Public accounting experience
  • CPA or CPA-eligible
