This is a senior-level position designed for experienced professionals who can independently run service calls, complete full system installations, ensure full code compliance, and mentor junior technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead residential HVAC service and installation projects from start to finish

• Diagnose complex HVAC system issues and provide effective solutions

• Install furnaces, air conditioning systems, heat pumps, and mini-split systems

• Ensure all work meets St. Louis County code requirements and safety standards

• Provide homeowners with professional system recommendations and explanations

• Complete accurate job documentation, reports, and digital records

• Mentor and support junior technicians when needed

• Maintain OSHA compliance and company safety protocols

• Represent SmartHouse Heating & Cooling professionally on all job sites

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC installation and service experience with a licensed HVAC contractor

• Active St. Louis County HVAC or Sheetmetal Journeyman License (Required)

• EPA Certification

• Ability to independently run service calls and full system installations

• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills

• Valid drivers license with clean driving record

• Strong understanding of residential HVAC codes and best practices
