About Boston Legacy FC

Boston Legacy FC (the “Club”) is Boston’s new professional women’s soccer team playing in the National Women’s Soccer League in 2026. We are dedicated to building a championship-caliber organization on and off the pitch. We are passionate about advancing women’s sports, investing in our local community, and redefining the future of professional soccer. As a startup club with a big vision, we’re building from the ground up and looking for entrepreneurial team members who want to be part of something extraordinary.

The Role

The Senior Manager, Partnerships Activation will be responsible for leading the day-to-day management, execution, and growth of Boston Legacy FC’s corporate partnership portfolio. This role is focused on delivering best-in-class partner experiences, ensuring contractual fulfillment, and building long-term, value-driven relationships with club partners.

This position will report directly to the Director of Partnerships & Activation and work closely with internal departments to bring partnership concepts to life across matchdays, content, community, and brand campaigns. This is an ideal opportunity for a strategic, detail-oriented operator who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth sports environment.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Management & Servicing

● Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for a portfolio of club partners, ensuring strong communication, responsiveness, and relationship management.

● Lead partner onboarding, including timelines, deliverables, and internal alignment.

● Maintain a deep understanding of each partner’s objectives, ensuring activations align with business goals and KPIs.

Activation Strategy & Execution

● Develop and execute integrated partnership activation plans across matchdays, digital, social, content, and community initiatives.

● Lead matchday execution, including hospitality, fan fest activations, signage, PA reads, LED integrations, and on-field moments.

● Collaborate with partners to ideate creative campaigns that enhance brand storytelling and fan engagement.

Asset Delivery & Fulfillment

● Own and track all contractual deliverables, ensuring accurate and timely execution of partner assets.

● Work closely with internal teams (marketing, creative, operations, ticketing) to deliver seamless activations.

● Manage activation budgets and partner allocation banks where applicable.

Data, Reporting & Insights

● Lead partnership reporting processes, delivering post-match, mid-season, and end-of-season recaps.

● Utilize platforms such as Zoomph, ReloMetrics, and SponsorUnited to measure performance and provide actionable insights.

● Develop compelling reports that demonstrate ROI and inform future strategy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

● Partner with internal departments to ensure alignment between partnership commitments and operational capabilities.

● Collaborate with the sales team to support renewals and upsell opportunities through strong performance and relationship building.

● Participate in internal planning sessions to identify new activation opportunities tied to campaigns, theme nights, and community initiatives.

Qualifications

● 5–8 years of experience in sports partnerships, brand marketing, agency, or related fields (NWSL/Soccer/Football experience is a plus).

● Proven experience managing and activating corporate partnerships or sponsorships.

● Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple partners and timelines simultaneously.

● Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

● Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

● Analytical mindset with experience in reporting and performance measurement.

● Familiarity with platforms such as Zoomph, ReloMetrics, SponsorUnited, or similar tools preferred.

Work Environment

● Hybrid schedule; in-office required 3 days per week.

● Weekend and evening availability required for matchdays, events, and partner activations.
