Job Description
The Quality Management Manager is responsible for leading and advancing quality assurance, compliance, and continuous improvement efforts across all programs. This role ensures adherence to regulatory requirements, strengthens internal monitoring systems, and drives a culture of data-informed decision-making to improve outcomes for the individuals we support.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance & ComplianceLead internal monitoring reviews and team members to assess program compliance with regulatory, contractual, and organizational standardsDevelop and implement quality assurance tools, audits, and review protocolsEnsure timely response to external monitoring reviews, audits, and corrective action plansTrack and analyze compliance trends, identifying risks and areas for improvement
Data & Performance ManagementPartner with program leadership to collect, analyze, and interpret performance dataDevelop dashboards, reports, and metrics to inform decision-makingSupport programs in using data to improve service delivery and outcomesEnsure accuracy and integrity of data systems (e.g., EHR, reporting platforms)
Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI)Lead CQI initiatives to enhance program performance and service qualityFacilitate root cause analysis and support implementation of corrective actionsMonitor progress on improvement plans and ensure accountability
Training & Technical AssistanceProvide training and coaching to staff on quality standards, documentation, and compliance expectationsSupport onboarding and ongoing professional development related to quality managementDevelop guidance materials and best practices for program teams
Collaboration & LeadershipServe as a strategic partner to program leadership, operations, senior and executive teamsCollaborate cross-functionally (HR, Operations, IT, Training, Marketing) to align quality initiativesCommunicate findings, risks, and recommendations clearly to stakeholdersRepresent an organization with professionalism and credibility, applying sound judgment and highly effective communication skills. leadership acumen, including decision-making, accountability, and the ability to develop and manage teams. Professional presence—strong communication, sound judgment, and the ability to represent the organization effectively—is required. All leadership hires should be assessed for their ability to influence culture, build trust, and lead with integrityExperience in a supervisory role with direct reports or significant team oversight- Experience leading others, including performance management, coaching, and team development.

Qualifications
Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and/or experience7+ years of experience in quality management, compliance, data analytics or program evaluation in human services or nonprofit settingsExperience with regulatory audits, monitoring reviews, and corrective action planningConsideration may be given to candidates with informal leadership experience (e.g., leading projects, cross-functional teams, or acting roles)
Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and data interpretation skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies (CQI, root cause analysis, etc.)Excellent communication and report-writing abilitiesDetail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlinesSpecial projects as assigned
Technical SkillsExperience with EHR systems (e.g., Foothold) and other quality related and metric driven systems preferredProficiency in Microsoft Excel and data reporting toolsFamiliarity with dashboards and performance tracking systems
